I would like to bring to your attention that there have been a number of thefts from vehicles and offenders are taking both the front and rear registration plates.
These thefts have been taking place since the 26th Jan in Whittlesey and the surrounding areas.
Please be aware of any suspicious activity and if you see anything then please call us on 0345 456 456 4 or 999 in an emergency.
We would ask residents to think about how your number plates are fixed to your vehicle. Most cars come with them stuck on so have a look and see then perhaps get them drilled on if possible. This would make it a lot harder for the criminal to take them and they would probably think twice as it would take time to unscrew them.
