Whittlesey stray dog service

The council's stray dog service is changing as of the 6th April 2008. This is due to new legislation removing The Police from having any responsibilities for stay dogs found in the Fenland area.

 

The council's advises that if stray dogs are found they should not be taken to the local Police station, as the dog will not be accepted.

 

You will need to phone Fenland District Council on 01354 654321.

 

The council's stray dog service, during office hours stay the same and are:

 

Monday-Thursday: 08:45 - 5:15pm

Fridays 08:45 - 4:45pm.
